After a fair amount of work I have managed to get my business site up together and redesigned. Built around the Mambo/Joomla content management system with search engine friendly URLS. I am building up the incoming links at the moment to help provide the site with some traffic and hopefully get business moving.
NICK FOSTER DESIGN
So... I am now offering Web Design, Ecommerce, Content Managed websites and hosting. I can also offer advice and most other website related services. Well as expected at least 3 or 4 of you monkey brained spammers a day come here in a useless attempt to slap your web address all over my site. Well whoopie doo... cos I've turned off the display URL setting so that now you can waste your time putting the link in and signing your name 'Instant Loan Approval' and it will only show up that Mr/Mrs Approval love my site!

Well... as I had 5 minutes and a tidy up on the PC I thought I'd have a go at getting some ideas for my Van and how it may look in the future. Its got hydraulics on it already so perhaps the lowrider look might be an idea, using the low rider style wire rims and some 'different blingin' I thought it might look something like this!
Not to everyones taste I am sure, but I like it.

ouch ouch ouch OUCH!!! Cor blimey guv'nor! The weekends walking has really left me with rather sore feet... no blisters just a blinkin gert pain on the outside of both feet when walking on them... simple answer... don't walk on them! Problem... I live a mile away from work and my van is STILL off the road! I managed to get to work today (just) but I definitely looked like a bit of an idiot walking in a Forrest Gump stylee! ouch ouch ouch OUCH!

Trains... Gotta love em... OK... maybe not...
Taunton to Poole on friday night... Taunton at 18.30... Poole at 21.00... with changes at Castle Cary, Dorchester West and Dorchester South. I NEED my van back! Anyhow... waiting at the station was Karen! (Big Grin) On to the flat where she had made a huge pot of vegetable soup. (Bigger Grin) And after that... she had a present for me. A small box she had made herself from Black Walnut, I rotated the lid to find a Silver Ring she had also made herself. (Biggest Grin imaginable) Tis a bit special!
Saturday, we took a walk in the morning out to a view point Karen had spotted on the way to work and took a few photos. My Attempt at a Panoramic. Whilst wandering we delved into every charity shop we could find, looking for bargains which unfortunately didn't seem to be about.
Saturday night we decided to go out and try a bit of Night photography. We walked from Karens flat in Branksome to Bournemouth! Found some really pretty places. Hopefully the film will come out as its all about guesswork as to how long I needed to be holding the shutter open. We stopped for some chips and then made our way back finding a rather impressively lit multistorey car park where I took a few more pics, Karen took a few on her new Nokia Mobile with 3.2MP camera which turned out great including a video which I will post when she sends it to me.
Sunday morning I waved goodbye to my feet. Now officially dead due to the amount of walking we did. Karen walked me to catch the train home but as far as anyone watching was concerned she could have been walking Forrest Gump. Train left Branksome at 14.45 and got me into Taunton at 18:15 missing the last bus and causing me to have to ring Mr Tom Pearson (DJ Airborne - see links page) to give me a lift home (thanking you muchly)
A brilliantastical weekend

I have added a new menu item on the right... My Latest... Which is basically a list of my latest Books, CDs and DVDs. I list them with links to Amazon if you fancy purchasing them. I can also give a small review (if thats what you want to call it) and it shows current pricing on the Amazon site too.
As soon as I finish/buy another I will update the site with the details and let everyone know what I thought. Oh and I can earn from it when things are clicked! (Someone has to pay to keep the site online) :-)

Occasionally I will find something amusing to share, there probably wont be much to say for some stuff, like this... and for some strange reason I found this amusing. Perhaps its true?

Well... MOT... at last!
Next Problem comes in the form of the same problem I had before. Carbs etc have been set up with new fuel pump, regulator, lines, vacuum hoses all done, no leaks... Yet when the engine is under strain it appears to drop to 2 cylinders... until I stop, when it ticks over perfectly and will drive on fine after 2 minutes of idling (but only for a few hundred yards)
So... I reckon the next step is to take the carbs off and for some reason I believe there to be a blockage of some sort in the left carb which is causing it to starve on that side of the engine, (the carb on this side has been seen to pop by mechanic) So... despite the garage down the road claiming to have worked on it and got it running, it appears they up'ed the fuel mixture to make it move and then gave it back... only took them a week. Nice!
A big thanks to Mill Auto Services of Creech St Michael for getting me this far, not so much of a thanks to the other garage who appear to have done sod all... ah well thats life! I think I will just start crossing things off their bill when it arrives.
