Today is the day... Up an extra 30 minutes early so I could make sure the last few things were OK on the van... and they were...

Starting it on the other hand was an issue. Employing the services of the landlord to bump start it down the road, then off to the petrol station for fuel, again the services of the garage staff were required to get it going. Finally the van got to work where I would be meeting my friend Chris to swap vehicles. I left it running for a while to put some charge in the battery but it appears that the battery no longer wants to charge.

8.30am Chris has to be in work, well... 9am he appears to pick up the van whilst on his way in still... (bloody mechanics). Bump started and away it went... now all I can do is wait. That worried feeling in the bottom of my stomach is slowly getting worse as it gets nearer to lunch when I have to make that call...
