Flame and Thunder
Monday, 06 November 2006
Well... as I expected really the van wasnt ready in time for Flame and Thunder but still I felt the need to be there camping in rather cold conditions. So... friday went something like this... Walk, Bus, Train, GSF Van... (thanks to Mark aka Cardiff Dubber for the lift to and fro)

After the mandatory group hug with the other VZiers and the first couple of drinks thrown at me, we all began to settle down for the evening and work on our headaches for the Saturday.

Saturday morning started rather cold and slowly got warmer. A walk into the food area for some breakfast and then back to the camp to find sausages and bacon being dished out. So was pretty stuffed by lunchtime. There was loads of stuff to see and do, From the drag racing to Freestyle motorcross and drift racing. The amount of cars on show was fantastic. Wandering the pits was incredible. Unfortunately the racing that was supposed to be go on into the night was cut short by the incident in my last post. Still there were 2 firework displays, monster trucks, a bar playing all sorts of great music, a small balloon glow and the fair. Havent heard anyone complain yet! Will sort piccies tonight!
